Tonight I am gripped by a overwealming sense of nostalga.
I got the new blazer yesterday, I have been enjoying the hell out of it.
I was heading through town tonight tugging a trailer back to the shop and my stereo switched over and started pumping out more human than human by white zombie. All the sudden I started reminising back to being 16. Steph was still alive then, my skull had no titanium in it, Laura was less of a bitch, and Nick had yet to fry his brain on drugs.
Back in the day I had a 70 Chevy short bed 4x4, it was a rad little truck, insanely built small block in it, loud stereo and exhaust. The truck was all black with tinted windows, we would stay out till all hours of the morning cookin around in that truck. I was working at dairy queen then, partying it up alot, some times 7 nights a week.
I had some good friends in those days, people I wish I knew where they were today, people I wish were still alive today. I miss them greatly, however that is life, things will change. People come and go, that is the way of things. I am not going to get melloncolly for "the good ole days" that was then and this is now.
Tonight however, I found myself looking out over that same hood, listening to a loud stereo and loud exhaust, and it did take me back, and I realised somthing, the time is now, this really is going to be an awsome summer. Thursday afternoon a great friend of mine is flying in and im taking a week off. We are going to have a blast.
I have been through alot in the past 8 years. Man how the time has flown. yet at times it has stood still. I really feel like this summer is going to be one of the best of my life. The times im going to have this summer are going to be absolutely rad. And this time, im taking lots of pictures.
Some people say Carpe Diem. (seise the day)
I say never stop fighting.

Let it motivate you further to do more with yourself, and be a better person inside and out. I'ver certaintly put that into my life and I've never been happier.
