I kept telling everyone that this would be the year we get a real Montana winter, they wouldnt belive me. Currently it is -5 degrees and will hit -20 tonight. It has allready snowed 8 inches this week. I am loving it, lets see how many of these assholes around here from California can weather out this storm!

just today, the former mayor published an editorial in the paper where he says all information regarding the failed Fast Ferry program he wanted (which has cost the tax payers about $50 million in 1 1/2 years!) was open and above board. mind you, on Tuesday, he said he found documents from the previous operators LAST YEAR that he was concerned, about, and turned them over to the State Attorney's Office and the FBI Office here in Rochester (both departments which have not confirmed this). and around August or September, the local paper tried to get the ridership numbers and the state of the Fast Ferry (afterall, it is owned and operated by Rochester) through the Freedom of Information Act.....and promptly told "No, we are not going to release those numbers, since it would give an unfair advantage to our competitors" (which, since I doubt a service operating in New York City or Michigan are out competitors, who the competition was).
some days, I do wish people would think. as one person who ran for City Council (as a Republican) used to tell people "Why are you voting this way? What does it mean to you? Does this person really stand for what you want and support?" sorely lacking in today's world.
just my 2 cents, though!

First off, FEMA is a load of crap. I've seen how they've handled disasters in florida personally and as good as they are, they are terrible. (same with insurance companies... but we won't go there)
Second, Our Foreign policy IS pretty screwed (The rest of the world laughs at america and americans, specifically Mr Bush.)

The hull and deck are out of the molds and they are getiing ready to glass/epoxy the hull and deck together . Then I make a trip there to sign off on everything before accepting delivery . Once I have it home I have some fabricating to do , partial rigging and all the drilling and cutting to finish before stripping everything back out and sending the hull out to paint
