Alright, enough of that crap. Back to the play. I give to you the next Act of Searching For Julie Wisch. The other parts can be found here:
Prelude
Act One
Interlude
Act Two
And now....
SECOND INTERLUDE
Dark Stage.
A small spotlight drops on The Narrator; Alison, still in shadow.

They could have all been named Julie. The other girls, I mean. The...

In the last few entries I have ranted about global subjects or posted parts of a play I wrote a couple years ago.
For this one a change of pace... and by that, I mean a change of pace for me. I'm going to whine a little.
Whining in these journals is pretty commonplace. I don't mind it so much. I remember being young...

Hey Everybody! This is the second act of my play, Searching For Julie Wisch. If you are stumbling on this for the first time, and at all interested in reading it, you'd do well to go back to here:
The First Act
And follow the entries. There are one or two non-play ones in-between, but those are pretty clearly marked.
And now... Act Two!

This is another snippet of my play, Searching for Julie Wisch... which was performed at the Seattle Fringe Fest in 2002.
For the first scene, simply click back one entry. For the Prolog, follow the link there. If you haven't read those, you probably should first... it would make more sense that way.
INTERLUDE
As the lights dim, Ariadne EXITS and JULIE enters.

heheh defintely a gender thing. I usually have a sweet heart and can't be mean, but I sometimes think I need to be. It creeps me out that he's gatta come into my house now! Yuck!
Also I noticed in your "what makes you sad" section that one of them is people who believe what the media is telling them. Damn I agree with this. I have friends I just can't talk to about anything political b/c they are glued to the O'Reilly Factor and hang on every word spoken to them. Keeping people in fear is what they are all about.
Well, thanks for coming by my journal come by anytime

Thanks for everybody that responded to my last entry. Now for something completely different.
Two entries ago I posted the Prelude to my first play, Searching for Julie Wisch.
Julie Prelude
For your hopeful entertainment, here is the first act (after you check out the prelude, of course.)
ACT ONE - SMALL AIRPORT GATE
Lights up.

I was and am still disappointed in the amount of hatred directed toward the gay marriage issue. In one of the threads, someone asked if anyone was against gay marriage and why he hadn't heard of anyone that was.
What followed was a hate filled thread, in which several members spewed the same type of venomous bile that they accuse homophobics of.

I think that two consenting adults should be able to marry legally whether the couple identifies as gay, straight or Britney et al. If the couple is interested in marrying within a religious institution than it is up to that institution to independently decide if they will conduct the ceremony. I personally feel that if a church group will not except gay marriage that they are in breach of basic human rights - but then it is not up to me. Incidently, it was progressive church groups here in Toronto who started marrying gay couples and demanding that the government respond to the needs of their parish(es).
I guess I don't understand the separate but equal thing - why all this rigmarole? Is this like "don't ask don't tell" about being gay in the military or "I'm against abortion, but I'm pro-choice."

i think it comes down to being able to say 'me and my (same sex partner) are married'. saying 'we have a civl union' is not the same as the words 'are married'.
i honestly think thats what it's all about because a fair amount of states have so called civil union benifits.
i am personally for gay marriage because two men or two women being married has zero effect on my life. zero.

I promised julianna a story today. The trouble is, after working out and the excitement of getting my new Mindy Smith CD, getting my brand new long sleeved black SG shirt, and arguing short sighted hippies in the Nader Thread, stories are far from my mind.
So, here is something (hopefully) better for you sweety. The Prelude to my first play, Searching For Julie...

Thank you.

I will get a picture very soon... I promise
This has probably been brought up before, which is why I'm using it as a journal entry. As opposed to a subject on the boards. It may mean fewer (or no) responses, but why clutter up the sex/Bush/date me discussions.

I miss you.
I can. But it takes work, it doesn't just happen. When I was younger (about your age
I started intentially doing it... intentially looking at situations I'd gotten myself into and breaking them up to figure out why. I encourage the exercise. And you have to spend time alone. I don't mean on the couch, I mean live by yourself for a while. Don't date for a while. Let the sound of your brain filter through all the noise that normally surrounds you.
And learning doesn't have to be 'seeing the beauty'. Learning is not doing the same destructive thing over and over again.
As a storyteller, I'm paid to find a story every day

I agree with you Moore comment but most liberals do not see those facts because they do not want to. They know what Moore was tring to get across and believe that and nothing else.

I've thought about a lot of different entries recently, but, to be honest, I've been a little sick and a little working very hard, and a little bored overall. I'll get over it.
Someone I talked to a couple of times left the site recently. She wasn't a 'friend' only because I don't actively ask for friends. But she was someone I checked on occasionally....

Well, the actual birthday is winding down, but the weekend has just begun.
Today was spent having lunch with my mom, then driving north to the slightly out of the way fresh butcher in south Lynnwood. There, I bought a couple brats for my lunch, two new kinds of bbq sauce to try out, and an 8 pound standing rib roast that they had to...

Welcome back
I have different groups, but everyone would get along on some level if I brought them together. But, I have a smaller number of friends and I don't hang around people that are overtly dramatic ,,, so even if they didn't like each other, I wouldn't ever know.
Actually I think you're right, about the self fostering thing... *I* was/am the one that keeps them apart, because I have two tiers of intimacy with friends.

And what're you talking about? I get to keeps mah fave SGs, yo. Sweet.
I have a Marilyn Manson autographed ticket stub with the original members (cept Mason b/c he was arrested at the show) I could never part with that!
I should take a pic of it and post it...it was awesome meeting them and actually hanging with them. Of course, now they are too big shot to remember a little show back in the day. Manson did write about it in his biography though...so who knows. I was attending history...lol.
