I've already broken my updating once a week promise. Oh well, fuck you guys.

So, the only thing on my mind right now is school and girls. School is lots of homework, involving typeography, color theory, and some other hopefully useful crap.

Speaking of which, here's a painting I did for color class (which you can see the full version in my pics/art folder):


I used Corel Painter, a program that allows you to build very realistic brushes, as well as create color palates based on other paintings. I took a photo, adjusted the hues in Photoshop, opened it in Painter, used the palate feature to copy the colors, then repainted the pic using the colors (with adjustments, of course). It's much more orange on my screen, but it got faded when I put it back into photoshop to save for web. I could have adjusted it again, but, :shrugs:, who has time.

I bought a new CD by Jill Sobule, which is awesome. 60s pop sound with mean-spirited, wicked smart lyrics.

Alright, I'm off to design an alphabet. It's my birthday on the 22nd, and I expect at least 4 happy birthday wishes. That's not too much to ask, is it? 4 out of 10?
