The last two entries are a short play I wrote.
This entry is a short wondering. After reading the whole dog shoots man story (first on CNN, then on what laughingly passes as a 'news' post around these parts), I was once again struck by how stupid we are as a race.
Not because a man tried to shoot dogs. Without defending that idiot, I will say all kinds of animals die and are killed on farms and in the country every day.
What struck me was that thousands of people are emailing wanting to adopt one of the puppies.
Are you saying there are no cute littl' ol' puppies and kittens being put to death in the animal shelters in their own towns? Or that those unfortunate animals weren't in the news (or tragic enough).
As far as I'm concerned you can be anti-abortion when you adopt a kid and you can email to adopt a cute little puppy you saw in the news when you've gotten off your hypocritical ass and adopted one in your own home town.
Man, I hate people sometimes.

Yeah, but you don't actually have to interact with other people and humiliate yourself in front of them when you don't know how to play if you stick to slots.
