Today took everything out of me. I'll bounce back... Because I have to. But it sucks.
She loved flowers. She loved smelling things. She loved napping in the garden. She loved playing. She loved sitting in the warm sunlight nose to the air. She loved boxes. She loved helping. She loved chasing me, and her tail. She loved laying on my chest. She loved tuna from the can. She loved beef jerkey, and lunch meat. She loved her black kitty toy, and playing catch. She loved watching birds and chirping back. She loved me. Most of all, I loved her.
I will be feeling this for a very very long time.
Thank you all for loving her too.

It's stories like this, that I wake in the night twisted and uncomfortable because my furball has taken the bed, and I can't bring myself to move her. The day will come, sooner than I'll care for, when I'd give anything to hear her purring in her sleep, laying across my legs. There is nothing like the love shared with a furry family member.
