I say try to concentrate on the positive, it's always good to vent, but I think looking for the good (or at least the OK) in any situation is going to put you in a better disposition.

The negative is always there, it is the entropy to which we sink. Finding a positive is an uphill struggle. But as the "eye" gets used to seeing them, increasingly they do stand out. Don't give up.
