Today was perfect, it's tomorrow I worry about.

I would like to think Nick would have been proud of his friends tonight. When we showed up late without beers in our hands they were promptly placed there. I'm walking away from what should have been a sad day more happy about life than I have been for a while.

For anyone who feels my heart isn't displayed proudly on my sleeve, you missed me not holding back thoughts or tears around the people I love tonight.

I saw people I've known since kindergarden, Junior High girlfriends, and friends little sisters who I haven't seen in years... and it was rad to hear they all thought I'd end up exactly where I am.
