Well, off to the Corrossion Of Conformity show in about an hour or so, and wondering what I am doing to myself. Lately. I cannot sleep and I do not know why. It's not because of anyone in particular....I just feel my thoughts drifting to the west, making me wonder if this place(VA) is right for me. It is not as bad here as I make it out to be. I guess if my friends were here it would be different.
I have been travelling for the majority of my life from one place to the next, and the longest I stayed anywhere was in Charleston, SC. Ten long years I spent there, and for what? Now it's VA...... that whole thing about "home is where the heart is" may not apply to me.
The best thing about this place is, well, where I live. I have a small apartment overlooking a creek, miles away from everywhere, yet close enough to check out downtown Norfolk.It is not so bad, sometimes....
