Sometimes I wish my life was more interesting, or I could at least be creative enough to make it sound interesting.
But then I think back to when it was interesting, and I remember the heartache and hurt that was caused, the mistakes made and the people hurt, and I realize that my life isn't so bad, even if its not very interesting.
It has been a long time since something touched me as strongly as this did. This is a link to a video of a homeless man singing Creep by Radiohead on the Opie and Anothony Show. He sings with such passion that I was a little overwhelmed, and felt the need to share.
So it looks like I didn't get the job. They decided to hire their current part time people to the full time positions, which I can't really disagree with.
I did however find out about a program through DHHR(Department of Health and Human Resources)where they will pay for college for me to get a Social Work degree, pay me a little bit of money each... Read More
I know it's small, but I finally found a picture of a bunny and a kitty for you:
My adolescent cat thinks he owns the dog now:
Sorry I haven't been around as much; with the new PC, you'd think I'd be here more, but I've been kinda distracted trying to keep it from driving me nuts just trying to get basic functions on it. Just making me feel stupid that after 3 weeks, I still can't get the same basic email program functions that my BB had the first day I had it. If I can figure out a very un-user-friendly device like a Curve, I don't understand why this is so hard. There is no fucking way that running Windows 7 is so easy that Peter Griffin (Family Guy) could do it.
I hope you are doing well, and that the job thing works out for you!
Still haven't heard back about the job. They aren't starting the position until next month so I'm not too worried. I have been doing some substitute work for them the last couple of months, and recently went to the site where I was interviewed at to take a child to get his hearing checked. When I went in for my interview the secretary remembered me,... Read More
I have a job interview Tuesday, for a family services position in Head Start. I'll be working with families to make them aware of resources that can help make sure their children are getting the proper care needed, such as WIC and Starting Points. I'm very excited about this, as I've decided to return to school in an attempt to get a degree in social... Read More
I love my job, but its doesn't have affordable insurance, and only pays minimum wage, which isn't cutting it. So Im on the hunt for a new job, and this does not please me. But with bills always coming in I'm so sick of just scraping by, with a lot of help from my family. Its not fair to them to have me burden... Read More
I love my neighbors, that I don't even know. Friday night I got stuck going up the hill to my house. One of my neighbors stopped by in his truck, saying he'd go get his dads truck(more powerful for helping tow me out). He, his dad, and two random people who also were stuck helped push my car out of the ditch I was stuck... Read More
