Ok.. So I'm back.. A little grumpy with my mom, but I should cool down after a good sleep in my own bed.
We left at 7:30 saturday, Ate breakfast at Cracker Barrel, which is a treat for us canucks. They know what breakfast is about in the states...
Went right on through to the Palasades parkway, stopped at a rest area, changed into our good clothing and headed right over to the restraunt. I forget the name of the little community. Right along the river before the Tappan Zee Bridge. All kinds of steep hills then it turns into a fancy schmancy little town. The restraunt was called Pasta Amore. Of course this part of the family's all italian, so where else would we go?
It was my 2nd cousin's highschool draduation party.
Huge 7 course meal or so. We were eating for 3 hours. How I don't know. I think even I may have put on a pound.
My 2nd cousin has turned into such a little metro-sexual. I never was too close to him. I just remember a long time ago when I bought him a batman action figure for christmas.
Anyway. we went back to my great uncle's after, he was putting us up for the night but there was a bit of an after party too. Had a good visit with relatives. Found out I might have Arabic in me waaaay back which would be cool!
This side of my family is named Syriani (Spelling?)
WHich apparently translates to the Syrian, So that's all interesting and cool.
Went to bed. breakfast was good. They went otu and got bagles before we woke up, with lox and capers.
They're unitarians so we had a pretty refreshing conversation. Nice to meet open minded people.
What mom didn't fully inform us on was just how much stuff she still had at her dorm. And how we had to sort it out in the blazing heat. The car was packed... I mean packed... I was crammed into a little corner, the airconditioning didn't get to me very well, I couldn't quite sit flat against the back of the seat because of things spilling over against the back of my head... it wasn't fun. That's why I'm a tad grumpy with mom.
But! I got my camoflauge.. it's awesome and sexy. I can't wait until it's cool out enough for me to wear it.
Supprisingly I spent NO money on this trip. There wasn't much of a chance, but mom said we could stop at the mall if we wanted, I could have talked her into stopping at the liquir superstore in Liberty. But there want any room for anything in the car. It would have gone between my legs or on my lap.
They didn't hold us at the border at all which was great! So now I'm home and sitting in my cool, cool, basement,,,
I have eight new baby mice in the cage, but one of the four left from the first litter is missing... I think they might have gotten a little stressed after I took one out before I left to feed to Bernie, and ate one themselves.
Freaky little gremlins...
Yay home... No work until wednesday, but I'm still a lil sicky... THink I'm getting over it. Scared once the sore throat's gone I'm gonna get stuffy and feverish though... We'll see...
EDIT: And now to add to my post-long car ride grumpyness. Sarita tells me she tried shrooms... I'm kindo f dissapointed in her. I though she really didn't want to get into that stuff.
I dont know all that much about it, and from my understanding, shrooms are far less harmful than other things. But... it gives me a different impression of her for sure. I didn't think she was curious.

No, Shiina Ringo is a single person, she's a really good singer/guitarist.
