things I have realised since the beginning of 2006
1. do not I repeat do not try to cut your toenails whilst drunk, it will hurt in the morning...I learnt this the hard way
2. my mother phones my flatmates when I'm at work to check I'm OK and I'm eating properly...after 6 years of this kindof behaviour I no longer find it annoying and intrusive just quite sweet
3. never believe everything boys tell you...no matter how much you want to believe it's true...8 times out of 10 they are acting directly on behalf of their penis
4. may flatmate suggested I may have spent a large portion of my teenage years suffering from mild body dismorphia and an eating disorder....I just thought I was really ugly and fat
how could you not laugh ?
5. incorrect medicaton, a bout of food poisining after Christmas and heartbreak is the best diet ever!!!!!!!!
I have lost over a stone in 4 weeks
6. weenat is the bestest waitress ever...and not just because she sneaks me free jd's
7. the future is exactly what you make it
8. the idea that people are thought of beautiful purely based on how they look is ridiculous, utterly ignorant and very funny
9. when I grow up I want to be an optimist and naked on the internet
10. chain smoking and drinking nothing but diet coke will only make you more stressed out
11. apparently I don't just beat myself up subconciously, I do it whilst asleep too...I keep waking up with weird bruises and little scratches that weren't there the night before...disturbing in so many ways
I shall now go and post all my drunken christmas pictures for your enjoyment...and one of a very pretty but very stupid boy for you to stick your tongue out at!!!!!!!
I have also decided that the ugly duckling is my favourite fable...if you could call it that
the duckling doesn't just magically transform into a beautiful swan, he always was a beautiful swan he just needed to stop thinking of himself as an ugly duckling
