I saw Prospero's Books today.. my little brain could not follow it. I'll have to watch it over again. It's told so differently than the other stuff out there.. plus I'm not used to old english--it's almost as if it's a different language. Also, it took me a while to get used to all the nekkid people surreal.

Yesterday there was a black out. I could hear all these sirens going off; police cars, ambulances, and firetrucks rushing through the streets. I was bored at the time and my imagination drifted off--I was thinking the world was comming to an end.. "were we being attacked? hmm.. smart move taking out our power..very smart..we're so vulnerable.. a ground war in the U.S..could you imagine? would life ever be the same?" I actually said to myself, "Life will go on without electricity."--fearing it would never come back on. But it did, and I realized how warped my sense of living is and how much I rely on artificial entertainment and technology.

Oh how easily are things to be taken from us that we have been so accustomed to, and it is only when they've been taken from us when we realise we have taken them for granted. Only a man with nothing knows what he has.

whenever the power goes out, i imagine zombies and such monsters...

*shivers*

we could survive without electricity (many do) but how would we generate enough light to keep the undead away?

yeah, I am getting more estimates this week.

I'm thinking about just super bonding it to the frame. There are other doors! wink

I used to take my doors for granted. brrrrrrrrrr.
