Today was the last day of real class this semester (I still have a final next Thursday though), and I've decided not to take a summer semester. This means I have about 3 months to do whatever I can think of. "Please," I say to myself, "do something worthwhile--have fun--don't stay indoors the whole time watching tv or infront of a computer screen--do something new...

As kids we all had so much enthusiasm. Where did it go? Somewhere down the line we all stopped caring.

We started talking about things that really didn't matter to us--bland, typical, over-used, distant from any sincere emotion things. "How was your day?" kind of questions. Conversations about food, pets, the wheather, etc. Replace everything with blah, blah, blah.

Seriously right on...Maybe alot of us here are thinking and feeling the same way. To be the right kinda person your passion is always the work, right? That's what were taught. But what do you say to the other flunkie rowing next to you on the slave ship? Anything else would require time away from rowing and thus totally insane. I remember that enthusiasm, too. And I miss it like hell. Something exterior has been pulling at it since high school. Like flesh from the bone, one might say. I totally feel you on this one, but what are poor rowers to do?

This is a story about a guy who moves to a new place and hates his new school so he doesn't go. Ends up in homeschool, which leaves him devoid of any social skills which leaves him friendless which leaves him sad and disfunctional.
Later he goes to a community college to try to fix himself.
Later he wonders if it will.

He wonders if...

Life, for me, seems not so complicated when I have a big project to work on--but it's going to be when I'm finished with it that's going to do me in.
n:

Like little worker ants, we build and build and carry on with our little tasks in the face of the greatest intruder. God save our queen and our little hill, it's he that should know more than any how hard we've worked for them.

I can see what could be right in front of me and I want it more than anything. I know what I need to do to get there, but the question is will I have the energy to do it. I don't want to feel out of control anymore. I want to feel confident and trust myself to handle things on my own. It's too...

hurrumph.. I've been losing it lately, just not being able to make sense of things. It starts out from little things and snowballs out of control. I keep digging and digging and then when I see I'm down deep I start to try climb my way back up. What's the purpose of digging holes anyways?

It's all about interpretting peoples reactions towards you--the "looking glass...
