I left my class early today -- I just couldn't see the point for me to stay there any longer. So I went downdown to romp around. Eventually I decided to catch a cheesy action movie. I need to find something else to do other than watch movies -- I need to expand my orbits. I don't like coffee, so I can't really hang out...

I had some pictures that I took at a punk show developed, and picked them up today. They turned out aweful =(. I was using a new camera that had a bunch of different buttons and functions and other crap that I had no clue about. I think it was the shutter speed that did it.
Also, I saw another open studio of some real...

Pretty good day today. Really profound and enlightening day at school. It's weird, I actually like my classes.
I saw this really beautiful girl on the bus today. You know those people who you just want to get to know and wonder what their life is like? Well, that's what she is for me -- I'm totally infatuated with her. She looks totally unordinary and...

hooray for boobie lover
I saw the best movie today -- "No Maps for These Territories". It's this sort of documentary about this science-fiction author, William Gibson, where he's in this limozene just going off talking.. and the things that come out of him are just these brilliant insightful gems. I guess he's also the guy who coined the phrase "cyberspace". I really have to check out his books.....

That's the most adorable answer i've ever seen to the "stats" question.
Followed up by a very funy answer to the piercings and tattoos question! Goodness.
You're also one of the only people in the world who has seen Buffalo '66, it seems. I saw it at the virginia film festival and loved it..must rent it again.

Thanks for your reply in my journal... I totally agree, walking outside is probably my main way of coping with bleh moods. Especially on a nice and sunny, crisp but not cold, windy fall day. *sigh* I think part of the reason I've been down is because the weather has been aweful here for weeks... freezing, rainy...
My fave sci-fi is 'The Time Machine' by HG Wells. if you saw the mediocre new movie, it's nothing like the story.. I recommend. As if you need more books on your list

Ahhh.. I have to write a 5-10 page papper for my sociology class and it's going no where. I don't know where to start. My topic I choose is education and religion. I wanna change it but it's too late.
The teacher said, "Pick a section out of your book." I didn't know she meant by the next class. So when she passed out this...

Good luck. My advice is to look out at them all and just think to yourself "I am sooooo much cooler than all of you. Man I am just way better." I also like to think of something really funny right before I start so that I will have this stupid grin on my face....like tonight I would choose, "I call the big one Bitey." Good Luck.
Also really intense eye contact makes people think you are very confident and knowledgable.

I went to this open studios thing we had in Santa Cruz yesterday. It's where like 300 artists exhibit their work, for free, to the public. It's required for my art class to see some exhibits and write critiques and whatnot and it was nice to see some good work.

Staying indoors sucks. I'm so used to staying home it's hard to find something to do outside. Living by a routine is no way to live.
It wasn't untill 10pm at night that I decided to leave the house and go watch a movie -- I was getting so easily irrated by everything and stir crazy. I saw Red Dragon, it was pretty interesting but.....

Sometimes do you ever feel like you're becoming something less than what you can be? That's what I've been feeling lately. Most of the time when I'm alone with my thoughts I think about really complicated and elabrate things and am able to work things out in my head. But when it comes to when I'm in a classroom or with somebody else it's like...

You sound like me when I was 18. And it does go away. It's all a matter of thinking and talking at the same speed. (Like chewing gum and walking? Maybe.)
Don't worry about it. The fact that you're even worrying about this is a good sign.
I put a couple of good links about your music question on the boards. See ya round.

No problem. Take the music advice seriously.
Take the other stuff with a grain of salt. I'm not what you would call a qualified expert on the subject of self-confidence.

The best relationships i've been in have been with people who just act as they ARE, not as they are "supposed" to act because of their genitalia.
