Yeah, in an instant I realized that I was right where I was needed, and dare I say, right where I was meant to be. It's not easy sometimes. But perfect would be boring, anyway.

I made Pad Thai tonight and it was dyno-MITE! I also made banana bread with my mom's breadmaker but it was not so good. Breadmakers suck; it's best to just bake the old fashioned way. I'm so damn domestic when I want to be.

I really feel like I'm one of the only nice girls left on this earth.

Speaking of old fashioned things, I was watching a show on TV tonight about Loretta Lynn. I love her! Watching her was like watching my grandma. They have a very similar manner about them. I could try and describe, but it probably wouldn't do justice--you'd just have to see it to understand.

Three things I am NOT feeling today are:
1. The Bravery. Maybe I read too much of the British press's opinions on them before I left, but I think they're pretty lame. Jumping on the whole 80's dancey indie bandwagon... too bad your old band was a ska outfit called Skabba the Hut. Insincerity is one thing I cannot stand.
2. Bloody pictures. Every other profile I click on Myspace has some. Yeah it looks cool, but it's getting annoying. Give it a rest. Fucking OVERKILL.
3. Banks. I owe the bank over $500. It's pretty ridiculous. I'm going to go in tomorrow and try and fight them about it.

Three things I AM feeling today are:
1. Louis XIV. Definitely what rock n roll needs right now. Trashy, glammy, T. Rex-ish straight up rock n roll. I'm in love.
2.Cooking. See above.
3. Reading. I'm about to start American Psycho, which I'm thinking is going to be better than most of Ellis's other stuff which is basically-- "We did some coke, I'm numb to the world, I fucked like 90 people, I'm failing out of school, we did some more coke." Boooring.
