Mama and Papa Monroe FINALLY know that I got my arms tattooed. I wouldn't say it went WELL by any means, but it was much better than I expected. It's weird that I'm 24 years old and I'm STILL having to hide stuff like that from my parents. I'm an only child though, so I'll always be their little baby.
Right now I'm sweating my buns off and half watching the Pens game. Even HALF watching any sporting event is a big deal for me. My mom is a big baseball fan and I spent a large portion of my childhood summers at Three Rivers Stadium but I can honestly say I haven't watched a single baseball game. I brought Barbies and books, and when I got older I'd bring a CD player. Anyway, I've been thinking I can get into hockey. Rugged, bearded men who like to fight? Into it!
Saturday night was the kickoff party for Pride Week in Pittsburgh. It was at this yinzer-swanky nightclub and Buckwild from Flavor of Love hosted it. She was standing there talking to my friends and I just kept staring at her, thinking "This woman made out with Flavor Flav."
