Brian and I both woke up with sore throats today. Great. I think it's karma, since I called off "sick" yesterday. Now I'm actually getting sick! I've been drinking lots of green tea though. Makes the scratchiness subside a little bit.

This weekend was nice. My favorite girl in the world, Gia, was home on Saturday, so after work the boy and I met up with her at the bar. She told me that she's going to be interning back in Pittsburgh (she goes to school in Ohio right now) this summer which is fucking awesome because, as I said, she's my favorite girl ever.

Brian and I stayed at my parents' house that night because they were out of town and I had to watch the dog. The house was freezing so we tried to build a fire and failed miserably. It was fun though.

Yesterday we got sushi and saw The Hills Have Eyes. I'm kind of indecisive about it. I want to like it because it was an interesting concept, and like a little cliche, I love some blood and guts, but some of it was just too much...girls getting raped by gross mutants, heads getting blown off in front of babies....I dunno. It bothered me. I'm not by any means an easily disturbed person. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood. That director, Alexandre Aja, really knows how to make movies that pull me in both directions (He did High Tension too). You can read a pretty good review here.

I got my money back from that girl who scammed me out of the L.A.M.B shirt! I think this is the first time my bank has ever done anything helpful for me!

Oh, and somehow I forgot to mention that I met up with some kids I was in London with last year, whom I hadn't seen in a year! It was great catching up. I also look slightly retarded in that photo.
