I seem to have napped all afternoon. I haven't done this in years. Quite the luxury for me. I tend not to nap much as many times I don't fully come out of dream state and am tre grumpy if I have to be social. I would prefer to linger in dreamstate most of the time anyway (some would say that in some ways I do). One dragon soul gives wings to my dreams these days... the temptation to stay there is strong.

When I was pretty young I would intentionally sleep to dream anytime I could as a escape from the world. At some points my dream life had become so strong and had such continuity that it was difficult to say which 'reality' was more relevent. Drugs and alcohol have never been a very good tradeoff.

I took today through tuesday off. It will be nice to get some rest and some self time. Hopefully I can keep a good portion to paint, as i have stalled out there for the last week or so. Tonight it will be great to see a good friend for whisky laden antics and good conversation.

sunday- I seem to have woken up a bit bewildered and lost. If it was sunny I would get on the bike and ride, letting the wind tell me where to go until I found my way and wasn't lost anymore... It is much to wet for that. the car will be a poor substitute, but will have to do...
