I feel the kiss of winter pushing against the forcefield contained in my blankets, testing it, looking for a weakness.
Somewhere for the cold to come pouring in to my bed and embrace me.
It's a trick of course, I know this and the cold knows that I know this but we play the game and as soon as I stop concentrating my warmth will be stolen.
Possibly a bit overdramatic on my behalf but I am still wrapped up in the cocoon of bedding with my arms only slightly out so I can type this.
I am not looking forward to getting up. My alarm went off at 5,30 as I had every intention of getting up early and going to the gym when I set it last night, but that was night me, this morning me didn't want to play along.
Oh well I am going to have to drag myself out of bed soon...........
