day one
spent most of today in the van - driving thru eastern washington, idaho, and into montana. everyone here in mousilia (sp) seems to be very nice, at least the few we encountered at the ritz. im not exactly sure how to describe the band who opened for us. i really wish i could remember (accurately) their name. it was no fi "sometthing" rebelion. i must apoligize for the shoddy reporting but i assure you it is quite late and im pretty tired. the openeres, mark and andrea, were very entertaining i assure you. mostly mark running around spazzing out, and singing to some prerecorded music playing from a minidisk player mounted into andrea's bass. very dancy very fun and didnt take themselves too seriously, wich in my book are all very good qualities for a band. visqueen played well. i think everyone was anxious to play after being in the van for so long. ben droped his sticks more than ive ever seen him do before, but manageed to be on fire the whole time. i video taped soem of the show and am excited to see how it turned out. sometiems not being present in the moment can take alot away from a performance, i want to see if this is true of tonights. tomarrow is a drive day but i cant wait to get to the triple rock.
