Wow, I just got back from dinner at http://fivepointsrestaurant.com/ - Five Points Restaurant on Great Jones Street off of Lafayette.

One of our friends works there so we got awesome treatment and soooo much food. I am stuffed. I ordered 2 glidden point oysters - yum. We got the beer battered onion rings. The batter was super and not too oily or heavy or caky or crunchy. Just crispy enough but not so loose that it came off the entire onion ring. We also got the squid saland. I ordered the wood-oven roasted salmon with fingerling potatoes and scallions. The salmon was moist and cooked just right so that it flaked off as I put my fork in it. Y got the hangar steak with some sort of corn polenta - omg, the steak was fucking awesome medium rare. We had champagne with dinner and then finished off with a peach and pecan upside down cake with cinnamon ice cream. Decadent indeed. I would probably say we eat like this once or twice a year.

Of course, I'll most likely end up spending 3 hours at the gym with more time devoted to heavy cardio to make up for my decadent meal of the evening.

I just took 5 mg of Ambien with a tablespoon of port and I'm pretty much set to go to bed.

This weekend went by amazingly fast mainly because I was so busy with work. Worked Friday, worked Saturday, gym Saturday, and then switched shift for the 9-5 and then off to Manhattan to meet up and go to dinner. And now my evening completely over!

Btw, somehow I feel like I got some sort of friction burn on my ass cheek. Don't ask me how the fuck I got it. It suddenly started hurting last night. Maybe it's from the stationary bike? I have no idea. Let's just say that it's rather unpleasant.
