Why thanks for the well wishes. I haven't sparred in a while so I wasn't moving as well as I used to. Plus I somehow picked up a habit where if I slip left, I neglect to step around (I guess it's a lag leg thing?) and bring myself back to where I was originally hence I get pegged. Damnit. I need to work on it.
Other than that, I kicked J around but had a little more trouble with the guys because of their strength and their size and reach. I had to work from pretty far out and couldn't really get in close unless they missed a kick and I pressured them by coming in close. I did get a cool close range roundhouse (that we had worked on in class last week) off my rear leg on one of the guys just as he was throwing his jab. It was awesome. Kru Steve was happy with my performance but you know how it is - there's always sooooo much to learn.
Oh, and I have a really bruised rib from a good knee J put in during a clinch - it's on my left side by my boob - fucking hurts
I hate how difficult some of my studies are because I've forgotten everything I learned 10 years ago. I know, if you don't use it, you lose it. So why must I use it now after I've already lost it?

Inconsiderate assholes piss me right the hell off! I just returned from what was supposed to be a relaxing camping trip in the mountains but instead turned into a nightmare. Some fuck-offs left broken bottles scattered all over the campsite we stayed at and we didn't realize it until my dog stepped on the glass and nearly sliced her pad clean off her paw.
