I'm back online after dropping off the world for a few months. Internet troubles are beyond annoying, its life threatening.
I'm lookin for a new job too. Hopefully with more space for upward mobility than the last. Waiting 5 years for a minor pay hike, only to start supervising people? Nah, I want better.

Hmmm...I'm inclined to agree with your freinds especially if the positions are just internships -- you could probably use your work there to build your portfoilo later. Granted, I don't know much about this subject since I'm just a barista, but there's my two cents! And also, I hate to make generalizations, but most of the people I've met that work at Microsoft are really nice -- not the money-grubbing douchebags that many people make them out to be.
