When you get past a certain age in your life, I have realised, you will have seen most things come around more than once. You will have seen fashions, news events, people , trends - everything - get recycled.

Human behaviour is one of these things that's seemingly locked into that cycle. Does it have to be? I believe that we could change - we could break the cycle - if only we looked at each other in the eye and answered this classic question honestly:

"What the fuck are we doing?"

Over and above everything else, I want people who say that they give a shit to ACTUALLY MEAN IT.

Specifically, I want these three things:

1. For people to stop being ugly to one another just because they don't like a skin colour or the country you that X person comes from.

2. For us all to stop obsessing over celebrity. Their lives are no better than yours or mine. They shit brown and bleed red, and for the most part they really aren't that interesting.

3. For people with money, power or influence to lead positive change in our world. Yes, we can all make a difference, but there are those that have their fingers on the figurative buttons that really could bring about swift, decisive action on so many things.

Is this wishful thinking? Maybe so, but I'm nothing if not a dreamer.
