Also, good luck with the process for the India gig. I find for interviews the SAR approach really works. Situation-Action-Results. It helps tell the story you are trying to tell to answer the questions. Helps frame a response if the questions need you to sell yourself. Check online for tips and tricks, they actually work and having conducted interviews the candidates that used a formal approach made it easy for us to give them a better score. Not sure how your interview would go, however something to keep in mind.
As for travel, lots of spots close to NS to take in. I hear Boston is awesome.
