Actually feeling a little bored today. Before noon I had already cleaned my apartment, aside from vacuuming, finished my laundry and been to Walmart as I needed cleaning supplies. I've been watching the animated Avengers series which is usually a pretty good day for me. I don't know, just kind of bored. Also feeling like I might be falling behind again with my finances again, which means that my plans for next year might not happen. Specifically my plans to start house shopping and my plan for a 3 week trip to the UK. I'm very disappointed about this as I was very much looking forward to both of those things. I guess I'll just have to be very careful with my spending for a while, there are just so many cool things I want. More tattoos, more movies and gaming systems and everything else. But for right now I think my priority is saving up for my trip because I really want to start seeing more of the world and maybe meeting a few of you in person if I'm lucky. I'll just have to be careful once everything is paid up, watch my spending and see what happens.

Now for something completely different. As a geek and a lover of all things Batman, I would not be able to finish this without at least a little comment on the latest casting choice for the greatest hero of all time. I don't know what Zack Snyder and DC are thinking by giving this role to Ben Affleck. I mean, nothing against the guy but he's just not right for the role. I've been reading all the comments that have been flooding the web for the past few days and it seems that the crowd is split right down the middle. There are good and bad points being made by both sides about this but right now, you'll get to read mine as this will be the only place I post my opinion on this subject. So without further ado here it is. As I said above, I've really got nothing against Affleck himself, he's been in some great movies and his directing and writing careers have been fantastic. I'm not even going to hold Daredevil against him. With that being said, I still think it is a huge mistake giving him the role of Batman. Affleck does well with his movies because he takes the characters and turns them into Ben Affleck so it looks like he's doing some great acting when in reality he's just acting like himself. What he should be doing is trying to take Ben Affleck and turning him into the character which is what he'll need to do if he is going to pull off the role of Batman successfully. Plus, I know they're going for an older Batman and everything but there are much better candidates for this than Affleck. 2 of my choices would have to be Gerard Butler and Jeffery Dean Morgan, both of whom have proven themselves in the action movie genre and both have already got the training needed for the role, the look and the acting ability to be able to effectively play the role properly. Anyway, that's all I have to say because in the end I know my opinion doesn't matter in this and everyone knows that I'm still going to go and see the movie when it comes out.

Now I'm off to look at more pictures of beautiful naked women and possibly vacuum my apartment. Hope everyone had a great weekend.
