So, my week started out super shitty today. I got taken into another meeting with my manager today about some bullshit. This is now the 3rd of these kinds of meetings since I joined his team at the beginning of April. The first time was because someone someone told his that I called him lazy, which I never did. The second time was because somebody went to him and told him that I was making inappropriate comments at work, but I am very careful about who I make any comments to, specially at work. This time it was something that happened on Friday. Because of the bomb scare we had at work they decided to cancel our last break of the day. Sure I was upset about this, same as everyone else that was told about it before they had gone on their last break. But, I made a single comment and went back on the phone exactly as I was told. Since we were slow I decided to have a look at what the rest of the people on the floor were doing and I noticed another team that had just started logging out on their break. I mentioned it to my manager since there was nothing I could do at the time and because one of them was walking by I mentioned that she was one of them. Today I was informed that that was viewed as me complaining about being on the phone and not wanting to do my job. All of these meeting have taking me by surprise which made it difficult for me to come back with much. All of this of course has got me a little upset so I decided to call my girlfriend to go over my day and maybe have her try to cheer me up a little. Instead of that she basically called me a pussy for not saying anything and not fighting back against these accusations. This just got me even more pissed off at which time I hung up on her. I'm curious as to what all of you think about this. Have I over reacted to her this time, or am I in the right to not have to put up with that? Let me know what you think, maybe what you would do in my situation.
