I got to spend lunchtime with my two favorite ladies today, Kasey and Abbi. Abbi is just growing up so fast, and becoming more of a sweetheart every time I'm near her. She was unsure about me, until she could see who I was, then it was all smiles and loving. She's learning to give hugs, and she's talking a little bit. She laid her arms on my shoulders, and put her face against mine at lunch time. Then she called me Da Da. That was the sweetest thing she could have done. It proves to me that I've found my family. Kasey has always been concerned about how Abbi and I were taking to each other, but today showed us all we needed to know. Abbi is my baby girl, and she knows that Kasey and I are right for each other. She wouldn't think of me as dad otherwise, especially since we haven't been around each other for close to a month. I'd have to say that I'm the happiest person around right now.
