So I have a cold. That's fun. Haha. I was sniffly/coughing all day and I felt bad about it.

I have to buy two 10-Rides for the train for work... Amounting to about 60 dollars.

And then at the end of the month I need to buy a 90 dollar monthly pass for July.

I get paid Friday. Should be around 100-120 (should be about...

Dorian Gray is cool. I always reread the classics... Wilde, Dumas, Melville, Burroughs, etc. Can't help but to love them.

And I certainly feel for you money situation. whatever I'm not pinching pennies so much yet, however I feel this'll change by the end of the summer. bleh.

I have a feeling that the week is gonna go by really slow or really fast, depending.

The things I like about work:

- I get an hour to read in the morning before going in
- The other cashier I work with is hilarious/really nice
- I get free coffee and free lunch
- I make $10 or more in tips every day, and...

I've worked in the pizza business for several years. We thrive on tips. I've only known two drivers who ever claimed their tips.

Glad to hear the job is going well so far.

I was going to tell you a heartwarming tale of how your tiny birthday flower was flattened in a thunderstorm but sprang back to be as beautiful as before and you could draw inspiration from the way in which even that which appears delicate and fragile can have an inner resilience that belies its appearance.

However...

My brother came round yesterday and cleaned moss and weeds out from the driveway and the flower along with them frown

I'm fucking exhausted. Seriously.

Stayed at AnchorpersonOnTV's last night. Yeah the AC was broken so I barely slept despite being in bed from about 11pm to 10am. Tonight will be the only night I sleep in until next weekend. Sad.

Work is enjoyable but really tiring. I also feel weird because there are some things I'm not good at that I should be. Like...

Urgh... I bought a DVD box set used on Amazon through a seller (but still through the site) for 50 dollars. The price on the regular one is about 80, which I could have paid but hey the other was cheap and I didn't care as long as it worked.

It's a korean soap. When I got it yesterday I was okay with it. It's...

I did alright on the job today. I worked from 10:30ish until 4. Messed up orders maybe five times?

Some people are bitchy. Especially when the clientele is considered more "high class". People I work with are lovely though.

I'm okay with the register, but I also have to close which makes me a little nervous as there are a lot of things to get...

Got the job. It was easy. Interview was incredibly casual and I didn't really get asked any interview type questions except about what were the best and worst things about working with people.

I have training tomorrow and Thursday from 10am to 3pm and then my first day is Friday from 10am to 4pm.

I'm kind of nervous as I don't know anything about serving...

Job interview tomorrow at Spa Cafe. I'm really nervous and shy but I'll do my best.

EDIT: Torrential rain/thunderstorms. I have to walk to the train station and to the interview. Awesome.

On another note, I'm honestly pissed at Hillary Clinton. I think she's acting like a two-year-old. This is the last primary. Obama has more than 100 delegates (+ superdelegates) on her according to...

Hillary is apparently claiming the nod for Vice-Pres now, as if it's hers by right(!) I don't know what I think about her anymore...

Good luck with the interview.

Okay so I have a job interview Tuesday at Spa Cafe downtown.

I will pretty much cry if I don't get this job. It's from 10am to 4pm Monday through Friday. And I want to keep it during the year so I'm willing to make one of my MWF classes at 8am instead of 1pm so I can work.

I'm probably going to have to...

That is true.

Come to think of it, in my last job 4 out of 6 of us in the team at staff level had all been managers in previous roles.

I don't think you'd look like a grandma with bifocals. I think you'd look like a sensible person who would want to be able to see long distances, and read without swapping glasses.

Also, on behalf of men everywhere, I'd like to apologize. I went to a bachelor party for my brother in law, and there was a stripper there and everyone was acting like idiots. I just didn't get it.

I think I have "life ADHD". Meaning that I can't focus on what I want to do. There are so many things I want to do with myself career-wise and so many things that I just want to experience. I've never understood why people could be happy staying in one place, especially the suburbs. I realize everyone has their own idea of perfection, but nonetheless....

My birthday is this weekend. Honestly, I'm not all that excited. Birthdays always make me feel insignificant or just like people do things as a ritual. It's silly. I think if I get any money I'll add another key to my tattoo. But I don't think I will... Plus I should use that money for my Wizard costume.

In other related news, I have decided...

Personally? I'd kill both of them. Drama. meh.

I wish I could go to the San Diego Con this year, but I'll miss my third year in a row. Before this streak, I hadn't missed a year since '93 (age 11).

Yeah, it's an expensive deal. Even for a local or native Californian. But if you plan ahead - and I mean REALLY ahead - and now a few like-minded people willing to allow you to couchsurf... it's fun times. haha

One of my fave memories is talking to Stan Lee and Will Eisner when I was 20. Funniest thing about it was the crowd that surrounded us. Like the fanboys weren't allowed to talk to them because they were comic royalty. meh. They're still people. I said how much I enjoyed their work over the years and that was that. No asking of autographs. I wish I did though, Eisner died a couple years later.

Who do you know? I likely ran into them a couple times.
