Feeling a little melancholy today. It is a nice, cool day here in Minnesota and I have been missing the Pacific Northwest a lot lately. The small town feel of Portland amidst the large city, Powells, Mount Hood in the distance, the ocean an hour away, the rain and the music scene. So much to miss and so much to love. I know I will get used to Minnesota and I came here to be near my family. Teaching is fantastic and I love my students. I just missed the Pacific Northwest a lot today.
On a separate note I was home for the first Mothers Day in many years and it reminded me why I am here.
I hope that everyone out in Suicide Land is having a fantastic weekend.
