So I discovered some new music at the concert this weekend. A band called Death Vessel. Well, it was actually one guy and a guitar. He came out on stage, rail thin, with hair past his waist and began to strum his guitar. Kind of Alt Country so I was interested, and then he began to sing. His voice was androgynous, clear and amazingly beautiful. I was amazed. I bought both his albums before Jonsi went on stage and love them both. I highly recommend his music. He is also a really nice guy. He seemed genuinely pleased that I wanted to buy both his albums.

I love finding new music, maybe something that has been around for a while, but is new to me. New songs, new emotions, new ways of looking at the world and my place in it. Music does it for me like nothing else short of love. Since love is lacking lately, music fills the void.

I hope everyone had an excellent start to their week and is happy Monday is nearly over and one step closer to the weekend and time to ourselves, to listen to music, ponder and dream.
