Sounds like your grandad and mine woulda got along well... mine was a tank driver for years in the army (Germany/Korea/India.. heaven knows where else)... he's given me the photos... him and his mates posing on their tank.. still make me smile though cos he looks like a right cheeky lad.
Got a giggle outta him today though so hopefully he's on the mend, they changed his meds and I think he's wanting to get home and watch his TV.
