Retarded = Crap.
I've worked with developmentaly disabled people for a long time. The word "retarded" is the equivalent of the "n" word in that world. it needs to be retired. It sucks that they can't fight back about this, but they'd need fully funtioning people help to fight off the world from calling developmentally disabled people names. it might suck not calling the "weaker" people names, but people stop. the next time you call somebody "retarded" or "tarded," understand that in 10 years you might as well be living in alabama in the '50s and calling people other names.
that's how bad it is even though it's funny now.
