P tried to scam some money off me toinght. He lives across the street. He's probably about 46+ and full of piss. I see him all of the time working in the morning, but tonight he's out begging. His buddy walked up to me and started begging too. I realized just then, that this is a game. They weren't begging because they needed to, they were childhood friends probably and this is a game.
At times i see the lady that lives across the street from me out begging too. She has dreads and is in her late 30s. she dresses like she's homeless and hangs out at or across tompkins square park. I wonder how much she makes? both she and P live on the same block. Rent is not cheap here.
I alway think it's intesting here cause beggers will be up at 7-8 in the morning to beg. They have a better work ethic than a lot of people i know.
