Well......my mom came out to visit the dood and I. It was so nice to have her here. You forget how much you can miss someone till they have to say goodbye.
She helped me get my yard under control because it was truly starting to overwhelm me. It's big! The lawn got cut and I have a 5 lovely blisters on my hand from digging weeds. OWIE! However, I did manage to take the edge off my whiteness and have some brown shoulders and cheekbones. (Yes I wear sunscreen and a hat!)
I planted some flowers in the front and some asshole decided to steal some of them!! Can you imagine? How can you go and steal someone's bedding plants? Totally lame.
Well, I'm totally broke. One more month paying my school and then I can ease off and have a bit more in the pocket book. UGH.
Random things that have happened....
*I painted my toenails pink. Hehehehe....
*I got my SG shirt in the mail. Yay!
*I have beautiful sidewalk chalk drawings made by my son leading up to the front door. Good chi!
*It is beautifully hot here again.
*I'm going to the lake tomorrow to lay in the sand in next to nothing, play frisbee and get a much needed rest.
*My hair is outrageous. It is like a freaking afro. Way too thick with natural curl. I'm going to have it dealt with soon. It's been pigtails and bandanas all week.
*I hate people who whine. Suck it up fuck.
*Gingersnaps are so good.
*I love my mom and I miss her lots.
*I watched The Return of the King with the dood. I love the part where Aeowyn kills the Witch King.I could watch it a million times and still love it and I always cry when her uncle dies.

that's too funny about someone stealing your flowers! I just read "survivors" and the main character would steal fake flowers to plant in his employers lawn instead of having to take care of real ones. Ah well I hope the gardening was good though. I think it's relaxing, therapeutic.
