This past week I was feeling a little down and out about my home space. I needed to get away but it just wasn’t possible. A colleague was going on a trip and was going to be gone for the week. She knew I wasn’t feeling so great, and promptly asked me to stay at hers while she was gone. I’m thankful, I got to get out of town and into her woodsy space. I got to snuggle in with the cat, and also do some exploring around the property.

I also had a dear friend and photographer over to make use of the property, for a shoot. It was a lot of fun, and we also went to the brook during the heat wave. Now I’m back home and not so disheveled.

Her house is set out of town, in a very covert forested area with lots of natural light and lovely views everywhere. I had fun being away and not having to focus on life right outside of my own door. Thanks M! You rock and I can’t wait to see you later~
