I am a modern day gypsy.
vagrant.
Yet again, I am moving! I counted the amount of times I've moved in 5 years and I have moved 12 times!!!! 3 of the 12 times were HUGE jumps to different provinces. Then the other times were house to house to house, bouncing all over the place, desperately seeking stability.
When I moved out to Newfoundland (from Nova Scotia) with my boyfriend. We had a plan. We had planned to stay out here for at least two years. So he could go to school, and I could get a tattoo apprenticeship. From there, we would plan where we would like to settle down. No more chaos. No more moving. Just starting our careers, saving money, and buying a house. That was the plan.
The thing about a plan is................. they never work!!!!
No matter how much you plan, you can't predict the unpredictable. Such as, me getting mad homesick, finding out I have social anxiety which was enhanced by getting out of my comfort zone (Nova Scotia), Ronnie's family troubles which made our hearts long to go back to our REAL home with friends and family. There are just so many factors you don't expect to happen when you're planning your master scheme in life.
I have between 2-4 weeks of Newfoundland left. Although I'll miss parts of it. I'm relieved to be going back home. Even though I'm like a gypsy, I move anywhere on a whim. Fresh starts are nice. The adventure and thrill is always a spiritual endeavor. Even though I'm spontaneous and seek change for personal evolution just trying to figure out "where I belong"........
stability would be a nice peace of mind.
I hope to find it one day.
