So, this year has been the hardest year of my life. I lost my Mum in February and it's still very unbelievable.
In May I broke my right wrist badly and damaged my thumb. I am still undergoing physio for it. It was my main hand so I had to cancel tons of work over the summer.
However, I did get to continue following my fav band around the world! IAMX! My travels abroad for them alone started December 2015. Since then I have been to many places to see them :) it has been incredible. I was very anxious at first... But after doing the first trip alone I realised just how liberating it was!
This year I have been to the following places for IAMX gigs and also passed through/stayed at places on my trips:
- Gothenburg in Sweden
- Kiev in The Ukraine
- Athens in Greece
- Amsterdam in The Netherlands
- Tilburg in The Netherlands
- Utrecht in The Netherlands
- Groningen in The Netherlands
- Dresden in Germany
- Berlin in Germany
- I then went to three UK gigs in a row: Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol.
- London (through this doesn't exactly count as I go to London alot lol).
- Barcelona in Spain
- Prague in The Czech Republic
- Berlin in Germany again
- Frankfurt in Germany
- Wiesbaden in Germany
- Leipzig in Germany
- Brussels in Belgium
- Hasselt in Belgium
- Utrecht in The Netherlands again
- Amsterdam in The Netherlands again
Hoping they will go back on tour in a couple of years time :) it's been an incredible experience.
However, it is also really sad to come back to England each time... There are things I like about England and that I am grateful for, but, I do really love traveling...
