The work Christmas Party luncheon went really well. A lot better than I expected. And no Naysayers, thank God.
So this evening I went to my folks house in good ol' Eloy. My Granny has been down for a couple of weeks, and she's going to be going back to Arkansas tomorrow or Sunday. She's getting very old and her health is of course catching up with her age. She's close to 80. I hat having to say goodbye. The last times that she's been to AZ feel like we may be saying goodbye for the last time. She's so funny though. She was talking about my cousin who's a blackjack dealer and blows all her money on the slot machines. She's always bumming money of my Aunt and just had to move back in with her. She doesn't have any of her kids and probably brings in 45K a year but can't make her rent. She bummed money off my Aunt to get her nipples pierced. I tripped out because, here's my almost 80 year old grandma talking about nips being pierced. Then she said, "maybe she should take the things out of her tits and sale them if she can't afford her cigs." I about fell out of my chair. My grandma cracks me up!
Anyway, good night all... I'm pretty damn exhausted after this week. Even though I bitched about work, it was a good week. It's neat to see something from the planning stages to the clean up stages, and to see people smile about it. I've excercised this week which I've been having trouble doing, and I've stuck to Atkins this week. Even at the party today I did not splurge!!! I'm saving my splurges for Christmas pie. mmmmm
