thursdays are like my mondays. i had the last two days off. i got a few things done around the house but i made a mess of the kitchen making dinner. it was worth it for the compliments i got from scott. 
i'm almost finished with a cute hat i'm making for joe. i'll post pics when i'm done. i finished my monster coin pouch for mercy my swap buddy in the SG crafty group. there's a pic of it in my camera phone pics. (i love that phone) then i'll begin my scarf for oni! i picked the yarn out yesterday! it's a light grey. they really don't have many manly colors at the yarn store. i'm going to look online for the berroco yarn i can't find anywhere for stirfry and emojulie's baby presents. seriously, they are going to be SO cute!
my brother is coming home this weekend! woo hoo! i may have him help me with a cake for stirfry for his birthday at the pink house next weekend. my brother's cakes rule and they freeze up nicely for later use. of course they do, that's what he does for a living. he's making some show piece (a sculpture of some kind, maybe chocolate or pulled sugar) for one of his friends out here. i'm hoping he brings me pastries! someone ate all the last ones i had around christmas time. i think i might have gotten one raspberry cakey thingy.

Do they run a credit check, or can you set up a plan as easily as setting up a home phone line? I remember, back in the day, those with bad credit had to pay a $400 deposit. Do they still do that? I really want to get my own cell phone (I'm sharing my roommate's plan), but my credit score sucks.
I'll just get pre-pay or something, or I'll check into the required deposit and see when I get it back and so on. Thanks!
