I have my very first photography job on Saturday...although, its not much of a job cause I'm doing it for free. But I still want to make some sort of impression. I want to do this right. It gets me out of my head for one, and keeps me focused on something, since I don't have an actual job at the moment. I'm nervous about doing well, but my friend reassured me that his sister is doing this wedding really cheap, and if she wanted better quality photos, she would have hired someone. Whatever, I still want to do my very best despite not getting paid. I told my sister I'd do her senior photos for free as well.
I was invited to the wedding rehearsal tomorrow night, and the dinner that is being held after. It feels nice to be included in something so special and wonderful. I know I've always been part of the family, a pretty major part, but still, it makes me feel special and important in some strange way. I can get a feel for what I'm doing tomorrow night, take some practice pictures, so I'll be ready for Saturday.
Tonight is another Rifftrax Live. They're riffing House on Haunted Hill, the original. It'll be pretty fun. Then tomorrow during the day I've been invited to go see Saw 7, although I'm not as into it as my friend is. Whatever, it will be fun anyway.
Things seem to be looking up.
