The brisket was stellar. My buddy makes a killer Jack Daniels glaze that we basted that bad boy with for almost 5 hours. Mmmmm It was a feast with arcticminx's potato salad and those garlic sauteed mushrooms.
Good friends around the picnic table with good food and a couple drinks.
We topped it all off with cheesecake, my personal favorite.
I can't sleep right now so I am up rolling around in here.
We got new neighbors. A soldier and his new wife of 4 months. She is from Germany and pretty cool. She was hanging out with all of us tonight but she seemed like she wasn't having fun. Maybe she just didn't get our humor. Cops can be pretty raucous sometimes.
Did you ever look at a person and wish you could hear what they were thinking? I tell you it would make communication alot more honest.
