I never wanted to get all that politically active. I, like most people, didn't think that one vote has that much power. And maybe because of the electoral college it doesn't, but I didn't vote in the last election and we ended up with Bush. The most evil man who as ever held the office of president in our country's history.

I didn't vote last time, I admit that. But it was a different world then. We, as a country were on the upswing thanks to 8 consistent years of sound policy making by a great and respected president. And while he had personal flaws he was still focused on making the United States a better place for everyone. Not just the wealthy.

In just four short years George Bush has turned this country into the most hated, not feared, but hated country on the planet. He's ruined the economy. Taken us to war with an non enemy. Betrayed the trust and respect that the American people gave him. Used scare tactics and propaganda to frighten his own people into blindly following his lead. His sole focus is helping his rich consistuents. While completely eliminating the middle class forever. He has no regard for the working man, for the battlefield soilder, for the poor and suffering. He's never known a struggle in his entire life. Every thing he has ever achieved has been through the benefits of nepotism.

If you haven't ever voted before, or never thought that politics was all that important, now is the time to get educated on this. Now is the time to get active, to register and vote. Yes, I was complacent last time, but I have been registered and have voted every other election since I turned 18. I backed Clinton in both terms, and I feel very guilty that I didn't support Gore. Even though my one vote wouldn't have changed the outcome in 2000, at least I could have a clear concious about what's been happening for the last four years.



It's hard work being an idiot.
