Complex, salacious, removal.

So, I had total meltdown of my OS the other day. I lost all my programs, my pictures, and song files. It certainly sucks, since I was really just getting a grasp on using it all. Any way, I 'borrowed' a new OS disk and loaded that up into my PC and have to start from fresh. So, far it hasn't been all that bad, except when I go to open a program that I no longer have and need to 'find' a way to get again. Anyone have any advice on how to get Kazaa Lite? Once I have that I'll be back in business 100%.

Update 04/01/04 - I found Kazaa Lite, and used it to get back some of the programs I lost. I am happy. Well happier than I have been about losing all my stuff.

Update 04/02/04 - Well I guess it was time for me to learn how a computer works. I have been going through and through this beast trying to find and restore anything that was left of my previous OS. None of the programs were there. None of my photos were there. None of my song files were there. BUT I did find all my old web page links, and you know what? I'm satisfied with that. I had a tremendous amount of web pages saved to my favorites and it would have taken me forever to find all those sources again.

In the end there is some positive to it all. I've learned a lot of things about PCs that I never knew before. This is, after all, my first ever computer and back when I was in school it wasn't all that important to learn this stuff. Yeah, I know, I'm old.
