La Di Da...
Not too much going on. Went and saw the original cut of Godzilla last night at the Nuart. Pre-show entertainment included one drunk wondertwinMargot_Dent, a cellphone wielding Cedar, a whipped cream covered Troublemaker and assorted others that rounded out the group before the show went on. Oh, and Maxx was there too, he just smiled and nodded his head alot.
Now some MAY ask, why whipped cream on Troublemaker? Well, you see, i was depressed. Terribly sad really. And after realizing that i couldnt cheer up by drinking myself into a stupor, i settled for a deep fried twinkie from LuLu's. Now, this deep fried twinkie had whipped cream on it, and for some reason, i needed to fling it at someone. In joking, i threatend to throw it at Troublemaker, he said i could. So, my wrist didnt even warn me before WHAM! Whipped cream hit him in the face and dripped down his jacket!! I FELT SOOO MUCH BETTER!! I WAS LAUGHING!! I discovered that flinging whipped cream at people made me happy!!! So, wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! And a few forkfulls later, with the impending threat of a caramel sauce incident, Troublemaker looked like the recipient of a cheap porn money shot! (Check back for the picture... its VERY photoshop worthy!).
Then we went and watched Godzilla. I made fun of the characters for a bit to amuse myself, and then realized the deep political and anti-american message the movie carried, and shut up. It was really sad. Godzilla, the monster was in essence a metaphor for the 'human monsters bent on world domination'. Yeah, really deep stuff. I enjoyed it, and thought it had JUST the right amount of monster.
Oh, and in non 1950's propaganda film news: I didnt tell thedefeated that i got 2 tickets to Lollapolooza yesterday during the presale, so she went and bought 3 tickets today. So now, we have 2 extra tickets. (Her BF is the third) Now, i wonder if we should each scalp a ticket for $200 bucks the day before the show on Ebay... any thoughts?
