Well, i havent updated in awhile due to the hectic horror that has been my week. I spent last week with pneumonia coughing until i felt like i had an ice pick buried in the side of my head. Once i started to feel a bit better, things got worse.
I got a call at 4 am on sunday morning from my best friend in the world. She had been in a car accident. Her drunk boyfriend had grabbed her steering wheel and made the car spin out of control. It did a sort of ping pong across the entire freeway lanes and came to rest smashed to oblivion against the guard railing. Miraculously, they all walked out of the car, even though it was split down the middle. Her bf went to jail for DUI cause his hand on the wheel caused the accident.
I spent the entire day taking care of my sweet friend and helping her come to grips with the gravity of the situation. I had so much adrenaline from almost losing her that i didnt sleep for 2 and a half days.
I felt like i was in Final Destination.. first i almost die on xmas eve, then Andrew's Humvee gets blown up on xmas day, and now my best friend.
Someone up there is watching over us... and that big of a show of Gods power is overwhelming. Frightening even.
Im starting to calm down.
Now i just want to get to Germany asap.

im sorry to hear that all of that happened. so much drama for lots of people this past month. there is a higher being watching over. not letting you leave this world just yet. have a wondeful night.
