I quit the SG Hopefuls group. It's really pointless to put my sets up there and ask for feedback, when it's obvious that quality has nothing to do with why the accept photosets. Looking at the recent ones, especially the new girls, I'm just astonished. They are AWFUL. The girls themselves are cute, sure, but what the hell is the staff thinking when they accept sets that look like they were shot with a fucking 1.0 megapixel camera? Or when the lighting is terrible, the background is cluttered or boring or a bad color, the shots are out of focus, or the girl has the same damn facial expression the whole time and it's BORING? And christ, I saw a set recently that wasn't even a new girl, but had all of the above qualities, and there was fucking RED EYE in every picture. It takes two seconds to remove red eye in photoshop. Give me a break. There are a few good sets here and there, but overall since I've been a member I've seen the quality of the accepted sets rise and then plummet.
And then girls like Kalidoom post absolutely STELLAR sets in the Hopefuls group, sets that were rejected with no reason from staff. It blows my mind.
