So, apparently I am a hopeless romantic and a somewhat hopeless case in life. But sometimes I tend to find something that gives me joy or makes me feel good. And yesterday I saw something that gave me a good feeling. It was the Anime called "your name.".
I don't like every anime that is entitled as womderful or great... but this one had me from the first minute. The whole film was perfectly animated with such details and truly beautiful colours... it was simply amazing! The details in every picture were so fantastic and truly wonderful. It was a joy to the eyes.😍
Even the story was really nice and somehow quite lovable. It was not exeggerated and the storytelling was very calm and although presumable after some time, it was still told in a very nice way so you wanted to follow the journey of the film. Something I love about japanese films, that even when they sometimes are not the greatest in action, the characters are very good and solid. And the two main characters were really designed very thoughtful and everything they did made sense.
Overall the story was though very romantic, not too much, it was a truly wonderful adventure with especially the extraordinary pictures making it a very heartwarming picture and something worth watching.
If you like comedy mixed with love and some weird twists... this is truly a film worth watching. I would really watch it again, simply for the tone of the whole film and the pictures. Simply amazing and indeed a true masterpiece.
