Milloux's Top 5 by Milloux

When I saw that the SG Homework was our Top 5 favorite jams of all time I was instantly stoked; but daunted by how hard it is to buckle down and really decide..what is my Top 5.

For me this is no easy question, and when I start trying to just let the list come to me, my min soars endlessly through the sea of songs that make up the playlist of my life. After much avoiding the whole thing, I finally found a method to formulating the list which makes the process much easier; 1 song for each part of my life divided into 5!

1. When I was a kid my first favorite band was The Police. They're simple jams really spoke to 6 year old Milloux and I feel like I was inspired to play bass by them! My favorite of all of their songs when I was 6 was:

The lyrics just spoke to my 6 year old self!

I always joke about it now & say this is my favorite song but when I was 11 it really was one of my favorites, a 90s kid staple:

I still listen to this song every now and then I don't care what you say!!

My favorite band since I was about 15 has been super awesome alternative dark Americana Indiana band Murder by Death! Their music has been a soundtrack for my life forever! This song always gets me feeling super pumped up and overall stoked:

My love for punky tunes is undying and Fugazi is definitely one of my favorite bands of all time! This video of Waiting Room live is On my way! If my favorite videos of all time, and every time I watch it I imagine I am at that legendary show freaking out in the crowd:

Finally we come to my most favorite song which isn't easy by any means but I've made a choice. This lady inspires me everyday and has been in my playlist since I was a baby...SADE! And this is my all time favorite Sade song, if you haven't heard it you should listen to 20x in a row right now:

After watching this video again I've confirmed in my head this is my favorite!!

So there it is! Milloux's Top 5 playlist, which now that I look at it, it is very random but sums me up!! You guys should listen through and tell me what you think of these songs!
